Rochester Public library
The Rochester Library is BUZZING AGAIN!
The library is open to visitors. We ask that out of respect for others, patrons observe guidelines set for by the CDC and RCH. As of May 1st, the Rochester Public Library is resuming our regular scheduled hours. We will be enforcing mask wearing, social distancing, and hand sanitizing protocols. With the cooperation of our patrons, we can be open for browsing, socializing, closed group play and modified "hanging out."
We will be having a Summer Reading Program. Please check back often and watch our Facebook page for updates, beginning in June.
There is a New Book Club in town. Thanks to the efforts of Diana Benevidas, our library is hosting a new book group. The group will meet May 24th at 6pm. Call us for more info.
For your convenience, our operating hours will continue to be:
Monday - Thursday 9:30-7:30
Friday - CLOSED
Saturday - 9:30-1
Sunday - CLOSED
Check out these local Rochester Readers....Wally, Harvey and Eddie Green!

Rust Printing on Fabric by Wendy Ela
Ages 10+ Wednesday July 28th @10:30 AM
Use metal objects placed on fabric to create your own unique design. By using a solution of vinegar and water AND the heat of the summer sun, you can watch as a print appears on the fabric. (This will required 2 trips to the library. One trip to set up your piece, and approximately 4 hours later to see what happens).
We ask that you reserve a spot (limit of 15) so we have enough materials for everyone.
