Easter Holiday Hours
We will be open from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 19th and closed all day Easter Sunday, April 20th.

What's new @ the Library?
Kids ages 10 and up!  Here is something fun to do on your Spring Break ~ Spend the afternoon of April 24th  at 1:00 pm at the Rochester Public Library!

Join youth librarian, Ruhama Kordatzky Bahr and explore “Steampunk”, a sub-genre of science fiction fantasy set in Victorian Times when steam was the main source of machine power.

Younger readers have been fascinated with the steampunk themes in literature.  While most of the original steam punk works had a historical setting, later works often place steampunk elements in a fantasy world.

Ruhama will introduce participants to the latest Steampunk fantasy series “The Rithmatist” by Brandon Sanderson.  There will be games, projects and snacks all related to this book.  Thanks to Tor Teen Publishing, we will also have a book giveaway.  Call the Rochester Public Library 534-3533 today to register for this program.

The first meeting of the TEEN LIBRARCLUB will be held Sunday, April 13 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.  All kids ages 6th grade and up are invited to join us for the fun and treats!  Please register at the library.
