Rochester Public Library celebrates

100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Join us this Sunday!

From the early 1900’s in Mr. Nichols cabinet shop, to the Rochester Academy, to the former Edward’s Ice Cream Parlor building and then up the hill to where the library stands today ~ the Rochester Public Library has provided the locale with books and library service in many ways to thousands of men, women and children.

Refreshments will be served and there will be displays of historic memorabilia.  You and your family are invited to join us:

Childrens Story Times

Preschool Story Time  10:30 – 11:15 am

Join us for a program designed for kids ages 3 - 5.  Choose Monday or Tuesday morning for stories, songs, activities, finger plays and a craft project with a different theme each week.

ABC Afternoon

Join Mrs. Czuta in this early literacy and kindergarten readiness program that includes stories and activities relating to a different letter of the alphabet each week. Ages 4 & 5.

ABC Afternoons is a program specifically for 4 or 5 year old pre-kindergartners. Our program will present stories, rhymes and activities relating to a different letter of the alphabet each week.  Sandi Czuta, our children's programmer will help your child become familiar with letters and develop an early literacy foundation needed to love books and enjoy reading.  Registration is required and the class size is limited.
