Interlibrary Loan
What is interlibrary loan? When you've searched our catalog and you don't find what you are looking for, let us try and get it for you from another library. Through our Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL), we can request materials from other libraries in the State of Wisconsin as well as from out-of-state libraries.
Who Can use this service? This service is available to all library patrons with valid library card.
Does it cost anything? There is no fee for this service. The library will not request any item for which there is a fee from the lending library.
How long will it take to get the item I need? Please allow a minimum of ten (10) business days for items to arrive. We will contact you via telephone or e-mail when the item arrives.
What can I borrow? Books, DVDs, music CDs, magazines - Just about anything that is available at another library.
How many items can I request through interlibrary loan? As many items as needed.
What is the loan period? The usual loan period for an ILL item is three weeks.

Loan Periods, Fines and Other Fees
All late items are subject to a fine of .25 per item per day with a maximum fine of $10.00

Damaged or lost material is billed at the cost of material plus processing.
Photo copy service is available with a cost of .10 for black/white copies and $1.00 for color.
Fax service is available at a cost of $1.00 per page.
Replacement cost for a lost library card is $1.00.
Meeting Room
The library has a meeting room available for use by nonprofit community groups and nonprofit organizations. The use of meeting rooms is at the sole discretion and timing of the library.
Please read the library’s meeting room policy. All applications for use of meeting rooms must be made in person and approved by the library director.
Book Drop
The library provides a book drop located outside of the library for the convenience of our patrons. The book drop is emptied each business day and no late fees are accrued on items after being returned in the book drop.
To protect digital media from the fluctuations in temperature, moisture and humidity, we ask that DVDs, CDs, Books on CD and Playaway MP3 players NOT be placed in the book drop and that they are returned inside during regular business hours.
Wi-Fi Access
Customers with wireless equipped devices, such as laptops, can now surf the Web throughout the library. All you need is a laptop or other wireless capable device that supports the Wi-Fi standard.
* Most Wi-Fi equipment will be compatible. However, the library cannot guarantee the compatibility of your equipment with the library’s network.
Right-click on Wireless Network Connection or Local Area Connection and click Properties
Locate the Internet TCP/IP protocol and click Properties. If more than one TCP/IP protocol is listed look for the one associated with your wireless adapter
Select ‘Obtain an IP address automatically,’ and ‘Obtain DNS server address automatically.’
Select WPL from the available networks. No passwords, user names or encryption settings are required.
Wireless users are reminded that their transmissions are not as secure as those on a wired network and should take precautions not to disclose sensitive data, such as credit card or bank account information.
Printers are not available via the wireless connection.
There is no staff available to assist with setting up wireless Internet on your computer device or to do any troubleshooting.
The library assumes no responsibility for the configurations, security or files on your laptop or other device resulting from connection to the library’s wireless network. Wireless users assume all risks in this regard.
