Summer Classes 2013

These summer classes are 1 hour "mini" Classes

Seating is limited and registration is required for computer classes.

 

Drop -In Computer Help

Tuesday, June 25 from 6 to 7pm

Have a specific question about Microsoft Word, Excel, email or the internet?  Stop in with your question and Kelly will work with you to answer it.  No registration necessary and you can come anytime during the hour.

 

Computer Basics 

Wednesday, July 10 from 6 to 7pm

This class is for the beginner.  It will include how to use a mouse/keyboard; highlighting; using menus, toolbars, how to save a document and an overview of the Windows desktop.

 

Internet Basics

Wednesday, July 24 from 6 to 7pm

Basic introduction to the internet including getting online, typing web addresses, understanding basic terminology, how to use a search engine & tips for finding information online.

 

Microsoft Word 2010

Tuesday, August 6 from 6-7 PM

You will learn to create and format a word processing document; cut, copy and paste; save and print. This class will also cover using templates to create letters and resumes, format with bullet points and numbered lists.
