Wednesday, June 19 &26/ 6:00 - 7:30 PM   Folios

Join Wendy Ela in making unique and distinctive folios to remember your summer of 2013. For ages 10+ Registration  required. This Class is Full.

 

Thursday, June 20/ 10:00 AM  Sunflower House ~Sunflower Gardening ~  As part of Dig into gardening we will continue our sunflower project as we make a sunflower house and growth chart at  here at the library. Ages 5+. Registration required.

 

Thursday, June 27/ 1:00 PM   “The Big Dig”   You don’t have to visit a construction site to see some Big Diggers because they will be visiting the library today. Activities also include stories and art projects. For kids of all ages!  This Class is Full.

 

Monday - Wednesday, July 1, 2, 3.  Visit the library any time this week and take home a patriotic activity to make your 4th of July celebration unique!

 

Monday, July 8/ 1:00 PM    “Dig into the past”.  Join us as we learn “All about Fossils “(pt. 1) In the first of this 2 part program you will also be making your own fossils.  Ages 5+.  This Class is Full.

 

Thursday, July 11/ 10:00 AM   All About Fossils Pt. 2. Today you will be finishing your fossil project.This Class is Full.

 

Tuesday, July 16/ 1:00 PM   I Dig Dirt!  Prepare to get dirty as we explore the world of dirt. You will be making dirt you can eat! This program includes stories, projects and a snack. Ages 4+.  Registration required.

 

Thursday, July 18 / 6:00 – 7:30 PM   Duct Tape Art   Join Lissa and learn how to make some great projects from wristbands, wallets and bags.  Ages 10+.  Registration required.

 

Tuesday, July 23/ 9:00AM   Breakfast Bunch.  If you dig reading this program is especially for you. This program is for all the early birds out there. We’ll be discussing your mystery read over breakfast.  Ages 8+. Registration required.

 

Wednesday, July 24/ 6:45 – 7:30 PM   S’more Stories   Join Mrs.  Czuta for bedtime stories and S’mores of course! All ages.  Registration and pajamas required.

 

Thursday, July 25/ 10:30 AM   What’s  Beneath the Surface?  Jim Berkles from the DPW will be joining us for a lively program about the water underground. Where does it go? We will also be having some wet, wacky fun so bring a towel.  Ages 4+.  Registration required.

 

Tuesday, July 30/ 1:00 PM   What’s underfoot at the Library? Can you see with your feet? Explore what lies underground. A program for all the senses! Stories, craft and fun! 5+ Registration required.

 

Tuesday, August 6 /10:00 AM  Hats off to Summer As our summer fun winds down join the library crew and  “BLING” out a hat to remember your summer of 2013. Ages 8+. Registration Required.

 

Thursday, August 8 / 12:45 - 3:00 PM   End of Summer Program Picnic  Bring your picnic lunch (we’ll provide the drinks and treats) and relax. We’ll have our reading raffles followed by juggler and stilt walker Jason Kallum!
